Spring is most definitely in the air.

Hi there,

Today (15th March) was a gorgeous spring day, warm enough to sit outside as several visitors to The Trumpet Corner Gallery will attest.

Stunning display of Leucojums; blooming their hearts out in a sunny border; my recommendation.

I was there today, taking down my glass from the Atmospheric Aesthetics Exhibition in the Garden Gallery – and delighted I had less to pack away than I put in 6 weeks ago!  I’m looking forward to another exhibition with different artists, a little later in the year.  In the meantime there will always be a limited range of my glass available in the Tearoom Gallery.

For me, Spring is the best of seasons, everything is so fresh and the spring flower colours; clear yellows, soft blues and fresh greens, not to mention the palest of pinks and purest of whites, just sing out in the sharp clear light.

And I’m busy preparing to start the ‘show’ season, kicking off with a trade show in April – BCTF (Harrogate).  Then closer to home, I will be at Malvern for the RHS Spring Festival for the first time this year.  Looking forward to that; not least due to my other passion – plants.

See you soonest

jill
