Saturday February 16th, 2019. Choose morning (10am – 12.30pm) or afternoon (2pm – 4.30pm) exclusively for you and your Valentine.

Workshop structure:
♦ Introduction to art glass; safety, design & techniques.
◊ Learn to cut and handle glass with confidence.
♦ Create!

Your gooseberry – oops we mean tutor – will guide you through techniques to create your  own pieces working with coloured glass sheet, glass frits & stringers and/or glass powders – let’s see where your creativity takes you.

The workshop will be tailored to suit you both.
So, as beginners, you could be making up to 4 small pieces (10cm square) each. These could be coasters, picture tiles and two can be slumped into trinket dishes if you wish. Designs can be abstract or pictorial, its your choice.

And they could be 4 the same, 2 pairs or all different. You can even cut them smaller if you wish.

If you have some glass experience you can create a larger piece such as a free standing art wave, curve or a lovely plate.

Firing and slumping (shaping) your work are 24 hour processes which will be done for you. Your gorgeous glass will be ready to collect in 2 weeks or less.
If you can’t collect we’ll pack carefully and send via Royal Mail or DPD for a flat fee.
